Highlights

Working Families Policy

CGA aims to be an employer of choice and as such, we offer more than the Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP). All pregnant employees are entitled to take up to a total of 52 weeks maternity leave and our enhanced policy pays up to 20 weeks of maternity, adoption and shared parental leave. (Note: this parental option requires at least one year of continuous service with CGA by the 15th week before the expected date of a child's birth or adoption placement.)

Rewarding our employees

Our exclusive rewards program brings employee benefits, discounts and perks, reward and recognition, employee wellbeing and employee communications into one unified hub. Discounts range from eating out, travel, entertainment and days out, fashion, sport and leisure. We also offer ways to save money – either through cashback transferred straight to a bank account to Instant Vouchers that can be downloaded to spend in-store.

Charity Partners

The Benevolent

In January 2020, we announced our official charity partner, The Benevolent, as chosen by our employees. The Benevolent works directly in partnership with our vibrant industry to help colleagues facing issues such as financial hardship, loneliness, serious illness and disability in our community. Its mission is to provide practical, emotional and financial support to those from our trade at every stage of their career. Our ambitious goal is to raise £3,000 this year!

Tim Bacon Foundation

The Tim Bacon Foundation was founded in memory of legendary north-west based restaurant and bar entrepreneur Tim Bacon, who was the founder of Living Ventures and famous spin-offs The Alchemist, New World Trading Company and Gusto, to name a few. Sadly, Tim died of lymphoma back in 2014 and since then The Tim Bacon Foundation has been raising money for causes aiming to end the tragedy of cancer, support people living with cancer and help families affected by cancer. We at CGA have supported the Foundation since its inception and take part in the Great Manchester 10K run every year.
